Mechaalany was honoured to welcome His Excellency Gregory Galligan, Ambassador of Canada to Lebanon, for an official visit to the company’s headquarters and production facilities.

A Warm Welcome
The visit began with a warm reception at the Mechaalany factory, where Ambassador Galligan was welcomed by the company’s management team.
During the introductory meeting, the Ambassador learned more about Mechaalany’s history, its evolution since 1943, and its continued commitment to producing authentic Lebanese food products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and food safety.
The meeting also highlighted the company’s growing international presence and the importance of strong partnerships between Lebanese manufacturers and global markets.

Inside the Mechaalany Factory
Following the introductory meeting, Ambassador Galligan toured Mechaalany’s production facilities, where he was introduced to the different stages of manufacturing, packaging, and quality control.
Throughout the visit, members of the production team presented the company’s modern facilities and explained the processes that help ensure consistency, food safety, and the quality that customers have trusted for more than eight decades.
The tour also offered an opportunity to showcase the expertise, dedication, and teamwork behind every Mechaalany product from the careful selection of ingredients to the final stages of packaging before products are shipped to markets around the world.

Today, the company’s products are proudly supplied to leading Canadian retailers, including Loblaws (Real Canadian Superstore), Walmart Canada, and the Phoenicia Group, making authentic Lebanese food products available across the Canadian market.
