BM MECHAALANY was established in 1943 by BECHIR MIKHAIL MECHAALANY, a pioneer in the pickles industry.

Since then, the focus on producing quality products, while maintaining a traditional recipe, has allowed the company to evolve into one of the largest producers of pickles, jam, syrups and a variety of other specialty food products in the Middle East.

As our company continues to grow and expand, our constant commitment to improvement in all areas of our business, including manufacturing, technology, research and development, has allowed us to maintain and continue to meet the expectations of our customers.

HISTORY

In 1970, the son of BECHIR MIKHAIL MECHAALANY, Nabih Bechir Mechaalany joined the company and strategic work on enhancing the products was making its way out.

During the mid-70’s, his two other sons, Maurice and Michel joined the company where started the pickles production.
Each brother was responsible for a specific role in the company: Nabih handled the production department, Maurice & Michel were responsible for the sales and marketing.

In 2001, Bechir (Jr.) joined the company and took over the sales and marketing role and started rebuilding relationships with local customers and slowly began to grow their customer base. In 2003, Bernard joined the company and worked with his father Nabih in the area of production. In 2008, Bechir (Jr.) began to travel internationally and was able to regain the loyalty of their international customers.

The company began to grow and started adding additional specialty food items to their line of products (local production as well as providing private label products). They spent the next several years focused on renovating their manufacturing facility, investing in state-of-the-art machinery, quality assurance, training and hygiene practices.
